Teaching Personnel are currently working a school that provide a rich and balanced educational environment which caters for each student – the school has been rated “GOOD” by Ofsted and are looking for a Computer Science Teacher to begin working in Easter 2020. They declare that their task is to serve their students. In this way, they will raise aspirations, unlock potential and work to achieve excellence through an encouraging and ‘can do’ culture which nurtures confidence and – in-turn – raises attainment.

The school are one of the largest mixed comprehensive schools in London with a capacity of around 1,800 students, due to this they are looking for an Computer Science Teacher to come in and begin working on a temporary contract until the end of the academic year and then a permanent one from September when they are looking to put more emphasis on COMPUTER SCIENCE and IT. The school is located close to stations that are easily accessible via public transport by bus and the Victoria line. There is parking on-site for those looking to drive.

Qualification, Experience and Person Specification;

  • QTS, PGCE or QTLS.
  • BA (HONS) in Computer Science, IT or similar subject.
  • Experience as a Computer Science or ICT Teacher at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • A Computer Science Teacher capable of controlling a large class full of students on computers – making sure they are all on task and reaching the target attainment levels the school is renowned for.
