Computer Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school based in Stoke in September. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in a subject you’re passionate about.

About the role:

• Start-date: 1^st September
• Ongoing/long-term with potential opportunity for a permanent contract with the school
• Paid to scale

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (including the GCSE curriculum). You will also:

• Assess and track student progress through formal and informal assessments
• Provide live and written feedback when necessary
• Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and resources
• Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and wider school community

What we’re looking for:

• QTS and strong background in Computer Science
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and programming languages (Python, Java, HTML/CSS)
• Experience teaching at secondary level (teacher training included)
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
