Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a dynamic and passionate Computer Science Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school based in Stoke in September. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in a subject you’re passionate about.
About the role:
- Start-date: 1st September
- Ongoing/long-term with potential opportunity for a permanent contract with the school
- Paid to scale
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (including the GCSE curriculum). You will also:
- Assess and track student progress through formal and informal assessments
- Provide live and written feedback when necessary
- Contribute to the development of the Computer Science curriculum and resources
- Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and wider school community
What we’re looking for:
- QTS and strong background in Computer Science
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and programming languages (Python, Java, HTML/CSS)
- Experience teaching at secondary level (teacher training included)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
