We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join our forward-thinking school in Rochdale, starting February 2025.

Located in the heart of Rochdale, our school is dedicated to fostering a love for learning and preparing students for the future. Our thriving computer science department plays a key role in engaging students with cutting-edge technology and computational thinking.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging and interactive lessons in computer science, inspiring students to develop their digital skills.
  • Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that meet a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster creativity and problem-solving through practical projects and coding activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology to incorporate new ideas into the curriculum.
  • Contribute to the development and success of the computer science department.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in computer science, including programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students in the digital field.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
