Position: Full-Time Computer Science Teacher 

Location: Secondary School in North Plymouth

Start Date: September 2023

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in North Plymouth seeks a passionate and dedicated Computer Science teacher from September 2023. The school is rated Good by Ofsted, reflecting our strong academic standards, supportive environment, and dedicated staff focused on creating a positive learning experience for our students.

While qualified teacher status (QTS) is desirable, we are willing to accept candidates who do not currently hold QTS, provided they demonstrate the necessary skills and commitment to impact the classroom positively.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes active participation and independent thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that values diversity and encourages creativity.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science education and incorporate them into teaching practice.
