Qualified Teacher of Computing
Teaching Personnel are sourcing a Computing Teacher to join a progressive and vilage-based Secondary School in Bedford on a permanent basis from Septembe 2025.

- Start date: September 2025
- Contract: Full-time, Permanent role
- Pay: M1 - M6, UPS 1 -3
This is a wonderful opportunity for a creative colleague to join this Ofsted Good Secondary School as they continue to grow their staff and student cohort to offer a diverse curriculum across KS3 to KS4. This role would be perfect for an experienced teacher looking to work in a dynamic, supportive team or for a teacher new to the profession - as they have a strong, exprienced team supporting ECTs. They are also open to discussions of TLR as an addition to the role.
Could this be you? Do you demonstrate:
- Passion for teaching Computer Science
- PGCE Qualification specialising in Computer Science or related-subject
- Excellent knowledge of GCSE Computer Science is essential
- Excellent understanding of teaching Secondary age pupils
- A 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils
- An ability to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative
- Willingness to learn and support others
- Patient and friendly attitude
- High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.

This is a smaller Secondary Academy well-established in the Bedfordshire area and reputable among parents and locals, as they host over 700 pupils. The school is positioned in a rural Central Bedfordshire area and best reached by car. The commute is doable for Teachers living in Bedford, Luton or Milton Keynes. The schools latest Ofsted report is Good (2023), noting that the School is welcoming and friendly and they take on responsibilities that make their environment and community richer and more rewarding.
