We are working with a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Liverpool that is seeking a Computer Science Specialist Cover Supervisor for a full-time, long-term role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated graduate or aspiring teacher to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and forward-thinking school.

The Role
As a Computer Science Specialist Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Deliver pre-planned computer science lessons in the absence of the class teacher
  • Support students with programming concepts and practical coding tasks
  • Maintain a positive and focused learning environment
  • Encourage student engagement and curiosity in technology and computing
  • Provide feedback on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff

About You
We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Has a strong understanding of programming
  • Is confident working with secondary-aged students
  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Is enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to develop a career in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
