Communication and Language support TA needed in Bury (M45) primary school

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in the Bury (M45) area looking for a teaching assistant to work across their Early Years and Key Stage 1 department. The school has had a large intake of children who have struggled with communication or have low levels of spoken English. The Head Teacher is looking for a teaching assistant to come in and support pupils in raising attainment in the class.
The school has a higher than average number of pupils on the SEN register and has special provisions for pupil with SLCN. The school requires a teaching assistant to work along side the teachers and SENCO to implement learning strategies as some pupils start school below the national average in terms of their learning development.
The school is graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted and prides itself on the fantastic reputation it has built for the work it does with the community and the end of KS1 and 2 results. To apply for this role you must have experience working with children with specific language needs and have relevant qualifications for teaching and supporting children.
