We have a rewarding opportunity in a Special Needs (SEN) Primary School in Hayes and Harlington. Due to additional classes opening September 2019 they are looking to appoint either Primary trained or SEN experienced teachers.

Teachers must have a proven track record of quality teaching and classroom practice. Autism teaching experience is highly desirable but not ideal as training will be provided. Support in class is also provided with a small team of trained SEN staff at your disposal.

Details:

  • Responsible for a small class of 8 autistic children learning according to primary national curriculum
  • Setting targets, planning, accessing lessons and liaising with parents/guardians
  • ÂŁ120 - 150 per day with opportunities for permanent work
  • Based in Hayes - accessible by Central, Piccadilly, Metropolitan tube lines, Great Western Railway (GWR) and TFL rail

Successful candidates will:

  • Have a QTS qualification
  • Have good experience or understanding of teaching children with autism/ SEN
  • Show a record of quality teaching practice
  • Show a creative approach to delivering primary national curriculum
  • Have exceptional communication skills to engage with pupils, parents and colleagues
