Classroom Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are recruiting new cover supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Swansea, Neath, Llanelli and Ammanford that we are working closely with. We are offering a daily rate of between GBP60-GBP65 per day plus additional benefits. 

Whether you are looking for a longer term role within the 1 school or are looking for the flexibility to choose the days you are availble, the choice is yours!

What does a cover supervisor do?

A cover supervisor is someone who will cover a lesson in the absence of the regular class teacher. No qualifications are needed for this position, however it is essential that cover supervisors can demonstrate behaviour management, an ability to improvise and ensure the pupils are on task. Having classroom management skills is vital for this job role. 

Work will already be set for you to deliver to the class, so don’t worry if the subject isn’t your specialty. No planning, marmking or teaching is required. The school are not expecting you to be an expert, they just want you to demonstrate a great attitude to ensuring learning standards are met at all times. No qualifications are needed for this role.

You will need to be registered with the EWC and have a child only DBS on the update system. However, all of this can be done through Teaching Personnel.
