Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Barry area from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and NQT's looking to join a nurturing school environment where pupil wellbeing and high-quality teaching are at the heart of everything they do.

The Role:

  • Full-time KS1 class teacher position
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, staff and parents
  • Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Have experience working with ALN pupils
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to raising attainment
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
