Job description

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-supported primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan to recruit a part-time Primary Teacher.

This role is ideal for teachers who are looking to maintain a high-quality teaching position while achieving a better work-life balance. The Role

As a part-time Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
  • Planning and preparing lessons in collaboration with your year group team
  • Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support
  • Establishing and maintaining strong behaviour management strategies in a short period of time
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated
  • Contributing to staff meetings, planning sessions, and school initiatives where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
