Class Teacher

Class Teaching role starting at Easter 2020

TP are looking for a Fully Qualified Teacher for a full-time teaching post starting in the Summer Term after the Easter break (middle of April 2020). The school is located in the LS11 area of Leeds, just 20 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to and from the school. The school are looking for a Teacher initially for 1 term in a mixed 4/5 class to cover a maternity however, this role may continue into the Autumn Term (September 2020). 

The school are looking for the following:

•              Fully qualified Teacher who has previous teaching experience in KS2

•              Experience with children who are working below the National expectations

•              Available Full time for at least 1 term 

•              Available after Easter (April 2020)

The school received ‘Good’ at its last Ofsted and last academic year received above 60% in the SATs across the entire school. Writing & Reading are subjects which KS2 struggle with and the school are looking for a teacher who is able to assist with raising pupil attainment in both of these areas in Year 4/5. The school have roughly 398 pupils on roll and have an average amount of SEN pupils in school.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University. 

These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.
