Class Teacher – Primary School – Sheffield
Salary: £31,650.00 - £49,084.00 Annually (FTE) – Mainscale/UPS
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role:
Our client, a welcoming and inclusive primary school based in Sheffield, is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's learning and development within a supportive and nurturing school environment.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a full class and will be expected to plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners. You will be part of a dedicated staff team focused on delivering high standards and ensuring every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Assess and track pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work effectively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

  • Contribute to the life of the school and its continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have a strong understanding of primary education and child development

  • Be an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Be committed to inclusion, high expectations, and continuous improvement
