Teaching Personnel are working alongside a GOOD graded Primary School located in Wakefield (WF17). The Head Teacher is looking to recruit a Primary Teacher who works with Class 5 pupils. The role will suit a Qualified Primary Teacher with a strong academic track record and the ability to build good working relationships with staff, students, and parents.

You will be joining a team who are professional, hardworking and supportive with the capability and desire to raise achievement even further. The students are enthusiastic and willing to learn and are proud of their learning environments.

The school needs a teacher to take the class 5 from March 2021 until December 2021 to cover maternity leave cover. However, at this point they will decide whether to advertise permanently for the position or offer a contract to the selected.

PAYE - GBP120 - GBP180 per day depending on experience

What is required from you

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Be available to work from March 2021
  • Reference information for the last six years
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable daily
  • Be passionate about teaching and education
  • Have a creative approach to teaching
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Have good behaviour managements skills
  • Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
  • A good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• To teach pupils according to their educational needs, including setting, marking and assessment of work

• Setting clear targets for pupils’ learning with which they agree and understand

• To cooperate and liaise with other professionals, including colleagues and external agencies

• To set high expectations in terms of behavior and maintain a good standard of discipline through well focused teaching methods and implementing the school behavior policy

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
