Support Worker – SEND School
 Brighton |  Accessible by Car & Bus
 £360 - £460 per week |  September Start |  Temp to Perm

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a specialist SEND school in Brighton that is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join their team on a full-time basis from September for the new academic year.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils across both primary and secondary age groups with a range of additional needs, including PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly PMLD and ASC.

  • Be proactive, resilient, and able to adapt to changing situations.

  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

  • Be confident in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours.

  • Be passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Child Only Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Relevant experience supporting children or young people with ASC, PMLD, or other SEND needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
