Childcare Level 3 Teacher – Alternative Education (16–25) – Bradford (BD1)
Location: Bradford City Centre (BD1)
Pay: £120 – £170 per day (pro rata, depending on experience)
Contract: Part-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Are you a passionate and patient educator who thrives on helping young people reach their potential?
We’re looking for a Childcare Level 3 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to a group of 15–20 learners aged 16–25 within a supportive alternative education provision in Bradford (BD1).
This setting supports learners who may have found mainstream college challenging — providing smaller classes, nurturing relationships, and practical, hands-on teaching that helps build confidence and employability.
The Role:
As the Childcare Teacher, you’ll:

Deliver and assess Level 3 Childcare modules in a relaxed, inclusive classroom.

Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.

Encourage positive engagement and support learners’ personal and professional development.

Create a safe, motivating space where young adults can thrive.

Collaborate with pastoral and SEN teams to ensure all students’ needs are supported.
Ideal Candidate:
✅ Qualified to teach Childcare Level 3 (PGCE, QTLS, or equivalent FE teaching qualification)
✅ Experience teaching or training young adults, ideally in an alternative provision, FE, or SEN environment
✅ Empathetic, patient, and skilled at managing behaviour positively
✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
