Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Modern Foreign Languages Teachers to join one of our client schools in Stockport. This position will be a full-time position, starting in September at the beginning of the new academic year.
The salary for this position is in line with the teacher pay scale (£28,000 to £46,685) dependent on experience.
Our client school is looking for a full-time language teacher, specialising in French and Spanish to join their MFL department. For this position, it is essential that you are a fully qualified teacher, whether you are experienced or newly qualified. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified teacher with a background in languages, especially French and Spanish.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum to a variety of ages across the Secondary education phase.
- Ensure that the behaviour of the pupils is well managed to create a safe and productive working environment.
- Providing engaging learning materials.
- Marking homework and assignments in a timely manner with relevant feedback.
- Monitoring the progression of pupils, being able to communicate this with the students, parents, and other members of the departments.
This school is located Stockport and it is easy to commute to from the surrounding areas such as: Hazel Grove, Bramhall, Cheadle, Bredbury, Wythenshawe and Denton. Currently, 27% of their student population receive a grade 5 or higher in both English and Maths, the local average is 52%. This school has become an academy in the last few years, the most recent Ofsted rating it had received was 4, meaning that it was considered to be inadequate.
