Chemistry Graduate - Aspiring Teacher

Are you a chemistry graduate aspiring to be a Science teacher? Have you got previous experience working with secondary aged students?

A highly regarded secondary school in Rochdale is currently seeking a Chemistry Graduate on a full time basis to provide learning intervention to those students who have not met their minimum expected grades.

• Full time Chemistry Graduate position, immediate start

Situated in the semi- rural setting of Littleborough, Rochdale our client secondary school is based on a large purpose built site allowing all students to access the curriculum. This mixed 11-16 academy is easily accessible via the M60 and M62 motorway and has a range of public transport links a short walk away from the school. The incoming Chemistry Graduate will:

• Have a degree specialising in Chemistry or Science based subject
• Have previous experience tutoring students
• Provide 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
• Be able to build positive report with students to keep them engaged
• Develop schemes of work differentiated to each student to challenge their ability
• Lease with the Head of Science on the progress and performance of all students
