There are multiple positions available for GCSE subject Tutors to work flexible part time hours within the Oldham Borough. These positions are commencing as soon as possible and running until the end of the academic year.
The tuition is for pupils who are being educated outside of mainstream. They could be being educated outside of mainstream for a variety of reasons including: pregnancy, LAC pupils, SEMH needs or extreme challenging behaviour. In order to be considered for the role you need to be either be a Fully Qualified Teacher or have significant tutoring experience.
You will need to have the appropriate skills needed to build effective working relationships with pupils in order to engage them and support them in achieving the best possible outcomes.
In order to be considered for the positions you will need:
- Fully Qualified Teacher Status or significant tutoring experience
- An in depth subject knowledge across GCSE subjects
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils
