Business Teacher - NG5 - Nottingham

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Nottingham - NG5 , they are part of a multi academy trust and they are looking for a Teacher of Business for a long-term supply teaching post till the end of the academic year. It is a full-time post. The school is easily accessible from Nottingham.


The School is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and successful teacher with proven ability to teach inspirational diverse lessons to their students. The successful teacher needs to be able to tech up to KS5.

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, interesting and high-quality lessons to mixed ability pupils up to KS5. You will be teaching Business across both key stage 3 and key stage 4 and 5 and will be supporting students to obtain the highest exam result possible.

A good knowledge of the Business curriculum and a passion for inspiring students to study Business is essential. You will be expected to plan your own lessons and marking is essential, you must also have good behavioural management skills, with an ability to build strong relationships with the pupils in your class.

We welcome applications from NQTs and experienced teachers who are available to start immediately.

To be considered for this role you must:
- Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new check
- Have a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum for Business
- Have two references including your most recent teaching position
