Job Type: Flexible Supply – Full-time, Part-time, and Ad Hoc roles available

Are you a passionate and adaptable Business Studies teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Secondary School Business Studies Teachers to support our partner schools in Twickenham and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach across varied school settings – ideal for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) aiming to broaden their classroom experience and enhance their teaching practice.


The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Business Studies lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)

  • Introduce students to business principles, entrepreneurship, finance, and enterprise

  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure effective learning outcomes

  • Step into different schools confidently and deliver continuity in the absence of the usual class teacher

  • Access opportunities for ongoing work, including block bookings and long-term placements


About You:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification

  • Confident teaching Business Studies at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 is desirable but not essential)

  • Strong knowledge of the Business Studies curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working in varied school environments

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A genuine enthusiasm for business education and inspiring young minds

  • Child workforce Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
