Business Studies Teacher

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

September - December (in the first istance)

£160 - £220 Per day

Job Duties:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons to students
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and effective learning environment
• Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practises in the field of Business Studies

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Degree in Business Studies or related field
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of the Business Studies curriculum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process
• Organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage classroom activities
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or Business Studies
• Experience working with diverse student populations

Working Conditions:

• Work in a school setting, following the academic calendar
• Full-time hours, with occasional extracurricular activities or parent meetings
• Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff and school leadership

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
