Business Studies Teacher

Location: North Birmingham 

Salary: £160-£255 per day

Start Date: September 2025 


 

Job Overview: 

This is an excellent opportunity to teach Business Studies to Key Stage 4 students, with the potential to deliver Post-16 content as well. You’ll be joining a well-established department known for its strong leadership, collaborative team culture and commitment to academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in students’ learning journeys. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Business Studies lessons to secondary pupils

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community

  • Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and achievement

Ideal Candidate :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Proven experience teaching Business studies in a secondary school environment

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
