Business and ICT Teacher - Salford
Are you an experienced Teacher of Business and ICT? Are you looking to work in a 'Good' secondary academy in Salford?
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Business and ICT Teacher on behalf of one of our partner secondary academies in the Salford area from January 2020. The incoming Business and ICT Teacher will be on a temporary contract until the end of the academic year in the first instance, although due to a gap in the department there is a strong possibility of obtaining a permanent contract from the following academic year.
- Full time Business and IC T Teacher from January 2020
- Teaching both KS3 and KS4 courses
- Fixed term contract with a possibility of a permanent role thereafter
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£24,373-£40,490)
- Join a successful department with a proven track record
Our partner secondary school is situated in the Weaste area of Salford, and is accessible via the local tram network as well as a number of bus routes. Candidates who drive can reach the school following a short drive from the A56. The school has excellent links with the local community and has modern facilities throughout due to them moving into a state of the art campus in 2012.

Our client school are seeking prospective candidates who have experience at teaching both GCSE Business Studies and ICT courses previously. This role will involve full departmental responsibilities including both planning and marking. Planning is usually done collaboratively during the dedicated and timetabled department time. The post is suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) that may be looking for their first introductory role, as well as experience teachers looking for the next step in their career. Applicants should hold QTS or have relevant teaching qualifications.
