Make a Real Difference: SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted Across Blackpool

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We’re looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools across Blackpool.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and other needs
  • Assisting with the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Supporting pupils with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborating with teachers and specialists to meet individual needs

✅ What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • GCSE qualifications

Preferred:

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Understanding of SEN and inclusive education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Additional training or qualifications in SEN support
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting
