Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Sports Coach/Youth Worker who has experience working with pupils of a more challenging nature. The School are looking to appoint a hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic and experienced Sports Coach to deliver a range of outdoor activities as well as being able to support pupils in lessons as a Youth Worker/Teaching Assistant. The candidate will be expected to work School hours which are 8.30am - 3.30pm and candidates must be happy to support pupils with additional needs/challenging behaviours.

The School is based on the outskirts of Blackburn and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who can sometimes be aggressive in their behaviours. The candidate will be forward thinking, confident and happy to deliver a range of sports as well as being willing to assist in lessons.

The candidate must be available to work monday - friday from 8.30am - 3.30pm and candidates must be happy to work within a small team of staff. You may also be expected to work on a 1:1 basis with pupils from time to time.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day
