Role Responsibilities – Biology Teacher (KS3 & KS4):

  • Teach Biology at KS3 and KS4 in secondary schools

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, practical, and theoretical Biology lessons

  • Deliver lessons across key areas such as cell biology, genetics, human biology, ecology, and physiology

  • Promote critical thinking, experimentation, and investigative skills

  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour

  • Assess, track, and support pupil progress in Biology


Person Specification – Biology Teacher Jobs:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification

  • Experience teaching Biology or Science in secondary schools

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • A genuine passion for Biology, science education, and practical learning

  • Ability to engage and motivate pupils of all abilities

  • Commitment to raising attainment and promoting a love of Science
