Behaviour Support Worker
We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Worker to join a school in East Lancashire on a full-time, long-term basis.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay:
£13.75p/h - £14.50p/h
The Role:
This is a varied and rewarding position, involving a mixture of in-class behaviour support and working as a General Teaching Assistant. You will support pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs, helping them to engage positively with learning and school life.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing targeted behaviour support within the classroom
-
Supporting pupils on a one-to-one or small group basis
-
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
-
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
-
Supporting pupils’ academic and social development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (school or similar setting)
-
A calm, patient, and consistent approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A passion for supporting pupils to achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
