Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a larger than average Primary school in the Burnage area of Manchester (M19). This 2 form entry primary school are looking for an passionate Teaching Assistant to work as a behaviour buddy supporting a number of children across the Early Years, KS1 and KS2 who need additional support to monitor their behaviour.

To be considered for this position, you will have the ability to deal with challenging behaviour whilst working closely with a number of children with a variety of difficult needs as well as having previous some experience working with children EAL and will have the ability to form good relationships with children of all ages from all backgrounds.

This 'OUTSTANDING' primary school was praised at its last Ofsted inspection for its self proclaimed motto of 'We create, We explore, We care, We soar' The school are looking for a passionate teaching assistant who has the skills and experience suitable to guide its disadvantaged children through the end of the academic year!

This post is to start in and will run up until the end of the academic year. Only candidates with experience supporting children with complex needs or challenging behaviours with some EAL experience in an educational setting will be considered.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting children with complex needs
  • Have some experience working with EAL children
  • Be able to form working relationships with children and staff
  • Be looking to build a career in education
