An excellent opportunity at a smaller than average and inclusive secondary school for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting the learning of disadvantaged pupils.
Highlights of the Behaviour Support role:
- Full- time Behaviour Support Mentor – starting ASAP
- Temporary role the remainder of the academic year (July 2020)
- Supporting identified pupils who are on Education plans focusing on behaviour support to avoid risk of exclusion
- Working closely with the school’s pastoral team to provide the appropriate behaviour support intervention to eventually reintegrate pupils back into lessons
- Paid weekly, early GBP1200 a month
- Oftsed recently commended this secondary school for its dedication to learning and inclusivity
The incoming Behaviour Support Mentor will join a thriving secondary school in Wigan close to the areas of Leigh and Tyldesley, who have a fantastic team of teachers and support staff who are truly committed to the learning and development of its pupils. The school is also very accessible from areas of Salford including Walden and Worsley via the M60 motorway.
