Teaching Personnel are looking for a teaching assistant for work as soon as possible.

As a Teaching Assistant in the school you will support teachers by helping to supervise activities in the classroom and work with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children across the curriculum, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing
• Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.
• Helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
• Motivating and encouraging pupils
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour plans and Personal Care programmes.
• Helping with school events, trips and activities
• Successfully identifying and managing challenging behaviour
• Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.

This provision based in Grantham and caters for Key stage 3 and 4 students with SEMH.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
