Behaviour Support Assistant

I am currently looking for a number of Behaviour Support Workers to complete roles in my Secondary school partners across Leeds and Wakefield from September on a temporary basis. This role is to accommodate on a pastoral level across school to assist with Behavioural needs and ease the pupils back into school life after the school closures. You will also have a big role in the integrating of the new year 7 intake into school and make sure they are settled in well to their new school. The ideal candidate will be available on a full-time basis from September and have experience of working in challenging environments. This role tends itself well to ex prison officers, police force, armed forces and sports coaches with you being able to become a role model to pupils within school.

What I am looking for:

• Experience of Youth work/projects
• The ability to manage challenging behaviour
• Sympathetic to pupils needs/requirements
• Be able to take instructions and liaise with Senior leadership

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
