Behaviour Support Assistant

Do you have experience working with disadvantaged young people and challenging behaviour?

Are you looking for a flexible new role working in a North Liverpool based Secondary SEN school?

A client Secondary SEN school in North Liverpool are looking to recruit a Behaviour Support Assistant from September to work with identified pupils who struggle to engage with lessons and behaviour management.

Your role as a Behaviour Support Assistant will involve:

  • Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects
  • Working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis with identified pupils
  • Delivering tailored learning activities with these pupils to raise engagement and attainment in core subjects
  • Act as a positive learning mentor
  • Flexible hours/days to work around your availability!
  • Earn up to GBP1400 a month, pay on a weekly basis.

The ideal candidate for the role of Behaviour Support Assistant will be educated to degree level, have a passion for helping disadvantaged young people and be confident dealing with challenging behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
