Are you looking to utilise your experience with challenging behaviour to support young people in the education system?
From April 2021, a large mixed comprehensive secondary school have made plans to focus on behaviour support across the school. As a result, the Headteacher wishes to appoint a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant who is able to support those pupils who are harder to reach, with behaviour management and boosting their educational engagement.
This is a truly rewarding position for someone with a background working with challenging behaviour to make a huge difference to pupils futures.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide extra support to identified pupils who are at higher risk of being excluded, in smaller groups or on a 1:1 basis. You will act as a positive learning role model for pupils and so the ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar setting e.g youth work, coaching, scouts/guides or social care.

- April 2021 - July 2021 in the first instance.
