Do you have experience working with teenagers, or children who sometimes display challenging behaviours? Do you have experience supporting behaviour within a Secondary School? My partner secondary schools in LS17 and LS17, are currently seeking to appoint 2 confident Cover Supervisor/Behaviour Support Assistant's to deliver pre planned material to full classes, work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis during the school day. Experience in this role is beneficial for the school but they are looking for the right kind of person so every applicant could be considered!!! A recent graduate with up to date knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 material would also be welcomed. We will be looking to start the roles ASAP!
The job title has many names and is often called Cover Supervisor, Behaviour Support Worker, Behaviour Support Assistant, Specialist Learning Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Support Assistant and Behaviour Buddy
Working as a Cover Supervisor/Behaviour Support Assistant within these mixed comprehensive secondary schools in Leeds LS16- LS17, you will be expected to have experience supporting students with additional learning needs, and challenging behaviour across KS3 and KS4.

This position is initially being offered on a full-time temporary basis, with longer term prospects for the appointed Cover Supervisor/Behaviour Support Assistant.
Both experienced Cover Supervisors/Behaviour support assistants, and graduates who have worked within secondary school settings are welcome to apply for this position.
