Job Title: Behaviour Support Specialist required in Camden. (Roles starting now and September)
Location: Camden, London
Salary: £387 - £600 per week
Are you passionate about supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health challenges? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist to join a school in Camden that provides exceptional care and education to children facing such difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted behaviour support and interventions to children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized behaviour plans to address challenging behaviours and promote positive outcomes.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports students' social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students.
- Deliver tailored interventions and strategies to enhance students' self-esteem, resilience, and coping skills.
- Monitor and track progress, providing feedback and reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in training and professional development to enhance your expertise in behaviour support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Sound understanding of behaviour management strategies and interventions.
- Ability to develop and implement individualised behaviour plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of students and the school environment.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in behaviour support or related fields are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
