We are seeking a calm, compassionate, and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the NP7 area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive in a supportive, structured environment.

✅ About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group behavioural support to pupils.
• Implement positive behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support behaviour plans.
• Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interaction.
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants who have:

• Experience working with children with behavioural, emotional, or social needs
• Backgrounds in education, youth work, SEN, or childcare
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain patient and consistent
• A nurturing, supportive, and confident approach
• A passion for helping children succeed both academically and emotionally

Relevant training (Team Teach, MAPA, ELSA, etc.) is beneficial but not essential.
