Promote Positive Behaviour – Support Pupils to Succeed
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of inclusive schools across Brent to appoint experienced and resilient Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistants. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting pupils who face social, emotional, and behavioural challenges in mainstream or specialist settings.
You will work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who require additional support to manage their behaviour and engage positively in learning.

The Role:

Provide structured support for pupils with behavioural, social, and emotional needs

Implement behaviour management strategies in line with individual plans
-
Build consistent, trusting relationships to encourage engagement and progress

Support pupils with SEND, including SEMH, autism, ADHD, and communication needs

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to promote a positive learning environment
About You:
-
Experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or additional needs
-
Calm, resilient, and confident using de-escalation techniques
-
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport under pressure

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
