Role: Behaviour Mentor
School: Independent all-age special school
Location: Bristol
Salary: £54-65 per day
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a behaviour mentor to work in an excellent all-age alternative provision. This school caters to students aged 5-16 and is an OFSTED rated "good" school. This school as an excellent range of facilities and an incredibly supportive staff base meaning this is a great school to work in.
You will be supporting the class teacher with small class sizes of a maximum of 8 students and two other members of support staff as well as working on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with students. In this role you will be supporting pupils' growth and independence as they get ready to leave school or as they transition through their time in school.
This school caters to students with SEMH, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour so you will need to be both engaging and resilient.
Additional information:
- Teaching personnel offer long-term work and work on a supply basis if you are looking for part-time
- CPD Academy allowing you to gain training whilst you work
- You need to have a child workforce only DBS or be able to apply for one and we will need to be able to take references from your two most recent places of employment
