Are you passionate about supporting young people?  

Can you be a good role model for young people with social and emotional needs?  

Do you have experience working with children with special educational needs?  

One of our partnership schools is looking for a SEN behaviour support mentor to join their team and make a difference to the young people they support. This school caters for children aged 11-16 with social, emotional, and mental health issues 

The ideal SEN behaviour support mentor will be:  

  • Committed to working with children with SEMH needs 

  • Highly organised and flexible 

  • Enthusiastic and keen to work with young people 

  •  

In this role as an SEN behaviour mentor, you will:  

  • Support the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities within the classroom.  

  • Act as a role model for students and reinforce expectations  

  • Support children’s learning to help them to reach their full potential 

  • And much more! 

 

The SEN Behaviour support mentor role is based in Salford and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
