Become a Behaviour Buddy in Poulton (FY6)

Do you believe every child deserves someone who truly understands them? Are you calm, patient, and passionate about helping children overcome challenges and thrive?

We’re partnering with a friendly, supportive primary school in Poulton (FY6) that’s looking for a full-time Behaviour Buddy—someone who can build trust, encourage positive choices, and make a real difference in pupils’ lives.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to keep them engaged and learning
  • Using positive behaviour strategies to guide and motivate children
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to create a safe, structured environment
  • Being a consistent, caring adult that pupils can rely on every day

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Stays calm under pressure and shows empathy naturally
  • Can confidently support children with behavioural or emotional needs
  • Works well as part of a team and communicates clearly
  • Has experience in education, youth work, care, or similar (not essential—but a big plus!)

What You’ll Get in Return:

  • A competitive daily rate
  • Access to ongoing training in behaviour management and SEN support
  • Opportunities to progress into pastoral, SEN, or teaching roles
  • A dedicated consultant and a school that truly values your contribution
