A large mixed Basingstoke based secondary school are seeking to appoint a Geography teacher to join their Geography department in September. The dynamic Scientist should be able to teach all Geography up to KS4 and hold themselves in high regard. The school has a culture of high expectations and is therefore looking for a dedicated teacher of Geography that is committed to providing excellent teaching to all students.

  • Pay range £95 - £160 dependent upon experience

The school has a caring and supportive network in place for all staff and students and is looking to recruit a teacher that can echo the same values and also ensure that the teaching providing allows students to achieve high standards. The school is over subscribed and highly successful and as a result is looking for an inspirational Geography teacher to join them.

The school is situated in the heart of Basingstoke, well serviced by local transport via buses and trains. The school is also easily accessible via the M3 should the successful candidate be commuting via car. This good secondary school is on its journey to outstanding with teaching in Geography already being highlighted as outstanding.

The successful Geography Teacher will benefit from a supportive network and Geography department, working alongside a team of professionals. The school welcomes applications from NQTs or experienced teachers with the proviso that the individual is committed to fostering an excellent learning environment and can bring an innovative teaching style to the post.
