**** SEN Teaching Assistant****

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary SEN school that is based In the Haywards Heath area. The school are now looking for enthusiastic and pro-active Teaching Assistants who are able to build strong relationships with their primary aged pupils! The school are looking for individuals who can be strong role models for their pupils and who will understand their academic and social needs.

About the school:

The school cater for primary aged boys between the ages of 6-12 years of age. The pupils will have additional needs including the following: ASC, ADHD and SEMH, all pupils will have their own specific EHCP (Educational, Health, Care, Plan’s).

About the role:

The school will expect that the chosen SEN Teaching Assistant will be able to hit the ground running with their primary aged boys, being pro-active and enthusiastic is key. It’s important that you get ‘stuck in’ and have some sort of background within SEND. You will be expected to work on either a 1:1 or small group basis with the pupils, allowing you the opportunity to build relationships with them.

Additional Information:

Travel: Car

Contract: Temp to Perm

Pay: £430 - £460 per week

Hours: 8:40am – 15:55pm

Experience: Autism/ADHD

DBS: Child Only Enhanced DBS

Location: Haywards Heath

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
