Job description

Are you looking for flexible teaching assistant work within education?

Would you like to work as regular cover staff for an outstanding special needs schools in East London?

This role is particularly suitable for students looking for some extra income, graduates looking to get into work or part time workers looking for another part time job/extra days of work.

The role:

  • Work on a flexible day to day basis
  • Cover staff sickness, holidays, courses, trips and other planned absences
  • Work part time – work is available between 1-5 days per week
  • Work in different classes and get to know all of the students across key stage 2, 3 and 4
  • Working hours are 08:45am – 15:45pm
  • Support students with a variety of SEN needs including autism and speech and language difficulties
  • Make a real difference to the achievement of these students

This schools have outstanding facilities including sensory circuits, trampolining, outdoor play areas, a forest school and large, private grounds. It also has a large car park – being able to drive is preferred although there are good public transport links.

  • We can also offer regular, full time roles if you decide you would like to work more hours
