Bank Staff Required for TA Work, Wigan
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
We are currently recruiting for a PRU in Wigan who require bank staff to help support KS1-2 pupils.
The PRU caters to the needs of up to 55 pupils from across Wigan and St Helens. Pupils will generally display challenging behaviour associated with autism, attachment disorder, ADHD and PDA - this can include both verbal and physical outbursts on a daily basis.
We are seeking individuals who have experience of challenging behaviour both inside and outside of the classroom, with mainstream curriculum knowledge coming second to hands-on experience of working with demanding SEN pupils or children from more difficult social backgrounds. Ongoing support and training will be provided. Candidates will be required to work independently with smaller groups, supporting them with their work and encouraging socialisation and the development of life skills.
As this is bank work, hours are not guaranteed, however as a supplier of staff to a vast network of SEN schools and behaviour settings throughout Merseyside, we are able to offer regular employment across a variety of settings, subject to suitability and experience.
All teaching assistants/ LSA's interested will need to email with an up to date CV or call the office for more info on 0151 244 5430. Or apply direct for an immediate response - Http://www.teachingpersonnel.com/register/
