Autism Support Worker

I am currently looking for a caring and passionate Teaching Assistant who is experienced in supporting children who have Special Needs to work alongside a child 1:1 who has Autism at a Alternative Provision in Worthing.

The school continues to be an Ofsted graded ‘Good' school. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who can understand the needs of the child and support their learning. The school are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible on a full time basis until at least July 2021.

The successful candidate will be working full time hours 8:30am-3:30pm offering up to GBP70 per day depending on experience and is due to start from January 4^th 2021.

The successful candidate will have the right attitude alongside some experience in order to meet the demands of the role supporting pupils with challenging behaviour. You must be committed to building a trusting relationship with the pupils, so you can successfully encourage them to participate in learning. The school welcomes those who have experience working in SEN schools, with a pro-active and engaging personality.
