Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school community in Stalybridge. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for Mathematics.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support to ensure all students achieve their best.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the overall improvement of the Maths department.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events, enhancing the overall school experience for students.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and encourages student participation.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
