An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within this primary school in Audenshaw. The role is to start after October half term the duration is ongoing. It will be until the end of the academic year for the right person. It is easily accessible via train from Piccadilly Manchester. This is an average sized community primary school.
You will be working along side a year 3 pupil with moderate severe learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder and associated problems such as speech & language and other emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The head teacher is passionate about ensuring the needs of every child are met. Making the school a happy place to learn is at the heart of everything the school does. To help children develop an enthusiasm towards learning effort and kindness is always rewarded. The school is committed to supporting children with SEN to achieve the best possible outcomes. This is both academically and socially and emotionally.
The right candidate must:
- Have relevant experience
- Have excellent Maths and Literacy skills
- Have patience and empathy
Would you welcome the challenge of working with learners in both group and individual situations, helping and encouraging the year 3 pupil to develop their self-help and learning skills?
You will need to be enthusiastic, committed & flexible, as well as having the ability to maintain calm, positive direction when under pressure. You will be the type of person who enjoys a challenge and seeks job satisfaction. The school is easily accessible from Manchester Piccadilly
