ASC Support Teaching Assistant (KS2) – Primary School in Lancaster

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)? Do you have the patience, empathy, and creativity to help a young learner thrive? Join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lancaster as a KS2 ASC Support Teaching Assistant and make a lasting impact.

 Your Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil with ASC
  • Deliver creative, engaging activities tailored to individual needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and strategies
  • Encourage positive communication and social interaction
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with SEN/ASC (or a strong willingness to learn)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

 Location: Lancaster, Lancashire
 Hours: Full-time or part-time options available
 Start Date: September 2025
 Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience)
