ASC Specialist Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking for a ASC Specialist Teacher partnership with a very well known and respected SEN school in Scarborough.

 The school offers excellent education for pupils aged from 2 - 16 with a wide range of needs. This includes moderate or severe learning difficulties, speech and language difficulties, autism and some medical difficulties.

The school are committed to providing the best education for all our pupils with all staff being passionate about providing a meaningful and motivating curriculum. Their aim is to help their pupils become responsible citizens who can make a positive contribution to the community

The school practices a ‘holistic approach’ focusing on the development of the ‘whole child’ using a personalised, pupil centered curriculum.

Do you have the following role requirements?

• Experience in teaching a range of learning difficulties in particular severe Autism to include Asperger’s Syndrome as well as Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
• Experience in teaching in SEN school
• Experience with providing personal care for early years, key stage 1 & key stage 2 children
• Any other relevant experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
